INSPIRATION

What I hope this blog to be all about...

I'm learning that inspiration can be found in the unlikeliest of places, usually when you need it the most. I read a friend's blog today and she touched my heart. Her eloquent words and tender feelings made me ponder and feel uplifted. They inspired me to make a change.

I watched a movie the other night and felt a strong desire to do something more than I am doing. To use my time more wisely and to fill my day with things that matter and make a difference.

I read a book that filled me with knowledge and understanding. It made me ponder and ask questions, which sent me reading further and desiring to know more.

I've come to realize that I am not living up to who I can be. So, using the inspiration around me, in whatever form it comes, I have decided to strive harder and more steadfastly to be the better me...to more fully "fill the measure of my creation." To recognize and allow promptings, insights, ah-ha moments, and beautiful words to inspire me to look to the One who can make me better.
